To facilitate further growth Stickyeyes are now seeking a Content and Online Communities Manager. Your core duties will be to contribute to, and manage, content and online communities for a wide variety of clients in highly competitive online sectors. We are looking for an experienced candidate with 3/4 years in a marketing environment.

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Working with Blue Chip clients and large organisations in highly competitive and rapidly changing markets such as online gaming, e-retail, travel & leisure and finance, to provide creative and engaging solutions for their online communities.
  • Delivering lively and effective copy for publication on clients’ websites, proofreading, sub-editing and managing all content as appropriate
  • Managing online communities, ensuring user retention and an engaging experience
  • Working with other teams within Stickyeyes to develop and promote innovative ideas to search marketing
  • Line management duties for other members of the Content Team
  • Liaising with clients and upholding their brand guidelines
  • Keeping track of the latest industry developments and working with company Directors to identify new content routes and gaps in the market
  • Contributing ideas and information to sales pitches and reports as and when needed

Candidates for the role must have:
Essential

  • 3/4 years’ experience in a marketing/pr/communications environment
  • Experience of writing and editing copy for the web
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Keen interest in search marketing
  • Knowledge and experience of content management systems
  • Relationship building, comfortable communicating with colleagues, clients, outside agencies and all layers of management
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to write for a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple high priority projects
  • Proactive, keen interest in marketing and desire to keep abreast of industry developments
  • Creative, with the ability to brainstorm and think outside the box
  • Ability to adapt and work in a challenging and changeable environment

Desirable

  • Proven success in a marketing/pr/ communications environment
  • Relevant degree or qualification e.g. Journalism, English, PR, Marketing
  • Knowledge of online marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO best practice
  • Experience of maintaining and contributing to large websites
  • Experience of optimising and editing images and photographs for the web
